FASHION: Glasses

Starting out as a newbie  K-Pop lover, I learned many things about the K-pop realm (and yes, I call it a realm.) For example, I learned what fan chants were, and I learned about fan groups among other things, yet there are still some things that I have yet to fathom. My biggest question that has been bugging me for a while now. Which K-Pop Idols actually wear glasses!?!? I'm positive that I am not the only one who has wondered this. Since I became a netizen, I've noticed this "trend",  I guess you could call it, everywhere! I've seen Idols wear them on interviews, photo shoots, and variety shows. I've seen so many K-Pop idols wear glasses that I temporarily had the notion that maybe most Asian people and/or K-pop idols were just naturally blind. Of course, this is not the case, but now I'M Soooo CURIOUS!! YEAAAA!!!: Who actually wears glasses? Somebody! Anybody! Please tell me! But, this does not mean K-pop idols should stop wearing glasses. In fact, glasses actually increase the aegyo levels of an idol. Either way, I think glasses are genius and they're both cute and fashionable. Nothing says Asian like glasses!
Here are my guesses....

BLIND or NOT BLIND?
NOT BLIND!
NOT BLIND
BLIND!
BLIND

I honestly don't care, because you're...just...too....cute!!!
Omo! I just realized and I didn't do this on purpose, but  Eunhyuk is looking up at Donghae! Eunhae ftw!!! Omo!

I stopped halfway because 1)It's late, and I was getting tired, and 2) They all look so convincing!! I just can't tell!!! It doesn't help when they look so cute either!!What do you think?

p.s. Happy Easter Everybody! May sparkly, bunnies and chickadees rain from the sky!

The Element of Surprise

Image Detail
IU is one of the most talented girls that i have ever seen. She's pretty and kind. I love her. She also takes time to answer her fans questions and also never fails at releasing great Music Videos. I especially love her MV for Good Day and You&I. They always tell a story. Its not just dancing and singing its also acting. Now I know how she's so good acting. She's not the girl that is there to just be pretty sing okay but she's the girl that has the talent and she even plays an instrument.

You Know you're a netizen when....

If there's one thing I love about Netizens, it's their immense dedication and passion towards K-Pop. Excuse me for being so sentimental because I'm like that sometimes, I feel that with K-Pop there's that sense of camaraderie. K-Pop, until recently, hasn't been that popular or widely known, so finding someone who likes K-pop was always rare and special at the same time. It's like being in a giant club where you can share your love of Asian People and Asian culture! How great is that! Now, I am so proud to know that there's netizens nearly everywhere! There really  aren't any fans like K-pop fans. I don't know any other fans that donate rice, or create fan chants.  For example, you know you're a Netizen when you....

  • spend hours scouring the internet for that one K-pop video with English Subs.
  • spend hours scouring the internet, only to end up watching the same video in Korean anyway because you couldn't find the one with the English Subs.
  • stay up late watching Strong Heart, Star King, or any Korean variety show, laughing hysterically, at the same time, secretly hoping that our parents don't hear us from the other room.
  • check Soompi and Allkpop everyday
  • stalk twitter and the only thing you understand is ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
  • stalk Facebook for "possible" K-pop idols' facebook pages.
  • cry whenever our idols cries
  • ship idols together (Eunhae ftw!)
  • learn all the songs in Hangul (that's true dedication right there)
  • learn all the idols' birthdays, blood type, siblings, likes, dislikes, and more
  • give our idols' nicknames (Henry Lau is called Mochi)
  • travel a bajillion miles to go to a K-pop concert
  • like and favorite a ton of  fancams because you unfortunately live in a small, obscure, in-the-middle-of-nowhere town, so you can't actually go to a K-pop concert
  • quote lines from K-Pop songs
  • convince your non-K-pop loving friends that the dude with skinny jeans and the blond hair, is not gay!
  • ...and then we still try to convert our non-kpop loving friends into netizens
  • Raise your standards to Handsome/singer/dancer/funny/nice/sweet/daebak/composers/actors/musicians/who are Asian.
  • bow when you don't mean to.
  • memorize fan chants
  • know Korean culture better than your own culture.
  • laugh when your idols laugh
  • laugh even when you don't know what your idols are laughing at
  • laughing at the way K-pop idols laugh
  • get excited when you're favorite idols speak English
  • all your friends know about K-pop (because of you)
  • start looking for Korean people everywhere and anywhere
  • ask any Asian person if they know K-Pop
  • constantly answer the question "What's K-pop?"
  • use Korean words that you may or may not understand on a daily basis
  • learn the K-pop dances
  • whenever we hear a word, it reminds us of a K-Pop song (Sorry Sorry Sorry!)
  • relate everything to K-pop
  • get defensive over your favorite K-Pop groups
  • try to get more views for your favorite idols' music video
  • Stay up late trying to get tickets for concerts
  • vote for your favorite idol for everything
  • 90% of your I-pod is filled with K-pop music
  • you forget what American music is.
  • your non-netizen friend says,"Set fire to the Rain!" and you panic because you think it's Bi Rain. (True Story!)
  • love guys who wear eyeliner and BB cream
  • know more than one website to watch dramas
  • yell and/or scream at your computer screen when you're watching dramas
  • plaster our walls with K-pop posters
  • your screensaver is K-Pop
  • your computer wallpaper is K-Pop
  • your cellphone wallpaper is K-Pop
  • AND you cellphone ringtone is K-Pop
  • write a K-pop blog about everything K-pop!
And this is why I love netizens. With that said, don't you think we need a Netizens Day now? I know I would.  I bet I'm missing another list of things we Netizens do on a daily basis, but needless to say, Netizens are the best and I am proud to say that I am Netizen. Hwaiting!!

If there's anything I'm missing, don't hesitate to comment below!

Studying Korean

HEY guys i wanted to talk about learning korean. If your a korean-holic like i am you might already considered learning the language.

The reason I'm learning:

1. its much easier watching a korean show raw because their easier to find
2. Will help me in th long run
3. good on a resume
4. i want to live in korea in the future
5. seams fun
6. also people ask me a lot if i understand it

I have now been studying korean on and off for 2 years. Since I do have friends and school I can't completely immerse myself in studying but when i have time I do.

Where I am In korean now: high-beginner or low-intermediate

I can understand a sentences when i know at least 3 words. I can read Hangeul but really slow. I sound like my brother who just learned how to read. I do understand some of it but not all. But i can understand them to a point where i can make small talk with a korean person. That in my book is good for a 15 year old learning korean by herself

What I use to study:

1. A Learn Korean Book
2. Korean kid workbooks ( like the ones where they have kids trace the words in)
    *learned this from 2PM's Khun*
3. Bright Pens --- So i know what is important/remember & it has to catch my attention
4. brightly colored sticky notes
5. Cute notebook -- make me open up the notebook & not just leave it on my table
5.Flash Cards -- bright ones that are different colors
6. Music Titles-- i usually read koewan music titles or when i have the album/single i read the thank you's
7. KDrama & variety show -- there are a lot of korean phrases that are said often and sometimes thats how I learn
8. Reading lyrics in Hangeul -- i read the hangeul lyrics and try to translate it in my head then see the english translation and see if i was correct.
9. Apps -- there are a lot of great apps that are designed for learning a language
10.The Will to Do it -- again my dream is to live there someday (during college as an exchange student) so i REALLY WANT TO LEARN KOREAN

For any of you wondering i want to become a computer engineer so i think going to korea where the center of technology along with Japan is a good expierience.

So i hope you guys think about studying Korean and if you do any of my suggestions please tell me how it works out for you or If your learning now please tell me some of your techniques.

Downloading Frenzy!

i have downloaded like half the songs that are in my ipod onto a flash drive. Your all probably going "WHY? you have an ipod. Why do u need to do that?" well heres the reason. I don't want to download everything again later so im making a copy of ALL 900 of my songs onto a flash drive so when my ipod suddenly want to die on me i can take the flash drive and plug it in and transfer it to a new ipod. I suggest you do this just in case. I should have started this when i got my ipod not when i have close to a thousands song.....

MBLAQ HELLO BABY

Hello_Baby_MBLAQ_5_Season.jpg
First of all Hello Baby is a show where idols take care of babies for a certain time. The idol groups that have done the show before MBLAQ were Girl's Generation, SHINee, T-ara, and Lee Teuk aw/ some members of a girl group. This show shows these idols as parents and shows comentary from the idols and the kids if they can talk.

MBLAQ have 3 multicultural babies and thats Leo hese french-korean,Dayoung who is Viatnamese-korean, and Lauren who is Canadian-korean. All 3 are so cute and when they talk its the cutest thing. In the show you see the 5 idols fatherly love and that they relly care for the kiddies. The show s jammed pack with cutess and fun. Its also very cute seeing the 5 different reactions of the members.

Lee Joon -- just wants to be acceted
Mir -- acts like a kid to get along with them
Seung ho -- the all so perfect daddy
G.O. -- acts professional
Thunder -- thinks its a competitition

Its so much fun watching them get along with kids.

In out of th 5 seasons MBLAQ and SHINee Hello Baby are the ones worth watching.

Extravagant Challenge (aka Skip Beat): Overall Review

A while back I mentioned a Taiwanese drama, Extravagant Challenge, that I was currently obsessed with. The only reason why I watched this was because Super Junior's Siwon and Donghae were the two male leads, but I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved my first ever Taiwanese drama. Some of you avid manga readers, or devoted anime lovers will recognize it by it's original name: Skip Beat. This live action drama is about a girl named Gong Xi who gives up everything, her home, her education, pretty much her whole life, to helping her runaway, childhood best friend-turned-pop-idol Bu Po Shang. Now I absolutely love Donghae, but I absolutely hate his character. He played the horrible jerk role really well. His character, Bu Po Shang, turns from nice guy to arrogant player, and he starts taking advantage of Gong Xi's kindness, by making him ramyun and cleaning his clothes, paying his bills. And what does she get in return? Squat. Once she finds out how much of an imbecile he is, she is out for revenge. She decides to enter show biz and be more successful than Shang to get back at him. Here she meets Siwon--er-- I mean Dun He Lian. and the whole story unfolds.

In comparison to K-dramas, Taiwanese dramas aren't that different. You still get the exaggerated acting, and the cliche love triangle. Mostly, I loved the way the plot line was structured, because Gong Xi is that strange girl who beats the odds and she manages to change the lives of each person she meets. It kind of reminds me of Tohru Honda from Fruits Baskets. And knowing me, this drama must have good characters! I love Allen Chao as Luo Lian, the weird but wise president of the company, and Jin Qin as Mr. Du, the comic manager. The conflicts didn't drag on, and Gong Xi was able to reach self actualization. My only problem is the ending! I loved every single episode, but the last episode was an epic fail! I don't think it even constituted as an ending. Like Fruit Baskets, the ending was just another episode. The main conflict wasn't resolved, so how can it be over?! I was expecting a big confrontation and more tension between Bu Po Shang, Dun He Lian, and Gong Xi (and I'm not saying this because I love Donghae). After all, these are the three main leads! Now, I can only assume that there will be another season, because I am not satisfied with this ending. Please let there be another season! Sigh. I guess I'm gonna have to read the manga now. (Just like Fruits Basket).
But check it out anyway, because everything else was superb!

One of my favorite Donghae/Shang parts!
Lastly, I must mention the OST, because it features songs from Super Junior-M. I love all the song from SuJu-M, because the always make me feel so happy! Usually, when you watch a drama, they always use the same songs over and over and over again **cough cough Boys Over Flowers** until you get sick and tired of it. For this drama, I love hearing the music, to the point where I anticipate it! Ok! Now I'm done! Now watch this drama! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
P.S. I'm solely basing this review off the drama, not the manga or the anime because I haven't seen/read either.

Comeback Teasers (4minute & SISTAR)

Today, I thought I would share some teasers for the 4minute and SISTAR's awaited comebacks. I usually don't listen to girl groups, but I'm making an effort to get to know more them more.

This  first teaser is only 18 seconds so I won't be able to deduce much. It features SISTAR's Bora, at a bar in what looks like to be Vegas. She stands prettily at a bar, with a tattoo on her back? Tattoos don't usually bother me, but this one was big and it looked out of place on her. It looked like it was cut and pasted on her back, regardless I'm awaiting their comeback. The teaser may or may not hint that the song will have dub step. The only problem with teasers is that they show off the members, not necessarily the song. Nonetheless I'm going to expect some dubstep anyway. As for Hyorin's teaser, she definitely shows a lot of confidence. I liked her vocals in the background so I'm also expecting to hear the same elements from their teasers in their comeback. All we have left to see is Dasom and Soyu.
While SISTAR went the party girls route, 4minute went down the vampire edgy route. Now, vampires are pretty cool, and the teasers looked cool too..... but is it so wrong for me to say been there done that? With all these new comebacks, there was a lot of darker edgier concepts, rarely any bubblegum pop, feel-good concepts that K-Pop's known for. I wouldn't be as disappointed with their concept if some of their teaser photos hadn't misled me. The first teaser photos I saw of 4minute were light, pinky and innocent, but then their teaser showed Hyuna with blood red eyes! (Kinda freaky!). I'm guessing the teaser is for only one of the songs, and the pinky and fluffy photo was for their whole album. I think? I loved the saxophone in the teaser too, which is new, so I hope they incorporate that in their song. Either way, I'm giving 4minute a chance to take this concept and make it their own, because I have listened to some of their other songs, and they're pretty good.  Volume up!
From this.....
....to this! What just happened?

So, who am I most excited for? Both. I'm excited for SISTAR's music video, but I'm excited for 4minute's song. Apparently, fan wars are brewing, but I think we can all agree that both girl groups bring their own sass and attitude to the table, which is why we love them. Both are equally good and each express their own, individual styles. No hating here, I'll just be waiting. (kekeke. That rhymes!)

Lee Min Ho for new Drama

Image DetailOur beautiful flower boy will be back with a new drama! it has been confirmed that he is to start a new drama "Faith" and its to air August of this year and said to be a fusion historical drama which will be new for Lee Min Ho but I am anticipating for this drama. Not much is known but that Lee Min Ho is confirmed as part of the cast.

T-ARA to add new members or replace members?

Image Detail

okay so it has been said that by the end of this year T-ARA would yet again have a member line up change. They will either be adding members or replacing them. For me i think this is ridiculous! T-ARA is fine with its line up now. I hate how they keep changing. i think people that are also fans of T-ARA agree with me. Do you guys like T-ARA now or do you agree with the change?

EXO DEBUT DATE THOUGHTS

Image Detail
So it has been confirmed that the long awaited SME boy group is to debut on April 8th, 2012 at Inkigayo. When i heard this news the thought that was going through my head was FINALY. Since SM really extended their teasers and my thought on their debut is it won't be as big as SM anticipates only because they made fans wait so long and then also i think NU'EST stole the hype because again SME made fans wait so long to debut them. I could be wrong but at least for me I'm less exited that i would have been a month ago.

BIRTHDAY!!!

yay just 2 more days till my birthday, Jonghyun's (SHINee) birthday, & Jay's (TRAX) birthday! YAYAYAYAY

The Hallyu Wave Travels to Japan/ SNSD"s Time Machine Review

In a recent article by Time Magazine (which you can check out here), I saw our fellow K-pop kings, Big Bang, grace the pages. While I was uber excited about them getting more publicity internationally, the article helped me come to the realization that K-Pop groups put a lot of emphasis on targeting their Japanese audience. I usually don't pay any mind to Japanese related K-pop stuff because I figured they're probably just promoting their same title track, except this time just in Japanese, but recently, I noticed a lot of original, sung-in-Japanese songs by our beloved K-pop Idols. So, just for the heck of it, I'm gonna review some of the latest Japanese singles beginning with SNSD's Time Machine.
If I had only to use one word to describe this song, it would be: mellow. Once again, I've come across another ballad, but I really liked the melody. Both the music video and the song have an almost ethereal feel. As for the technical aspects of the song, I don't have much to comment on other than that Time Machine really showcases the singers of SNSD. I usually don't look up the translation of songs, but I was decidedly curious about the lyrics. According to the lyrics,  Sunny, Seohyun, Tiffany, Jessica and Taeyeon sang most of the verses, while Yuri, Yoona, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon joined in at the chorus. Honestly, I'm not really concerned with this; rather I'm more concerned about the song itself. Normally, I don't care if a K-Pop song has terrible English, or if the music videos make no sense, or what  weird clothes they wear, I just care about the song. I put the needs of my ears before my eyes, because it's not all about looks for me. With this said, not only is the melody amazingly beautiful, so are the lyrics. There aren't any smatterings of broken English with the exception of some redundant phrases ("got a one regret"). Everything works in the right context, and the I love the way the Japanese language sounds. Their vocals project lots of emotion that add some depth to the song. It makes you forget that these are the same girls that   "Brought the Boys out".
As for the meaning of the song, it's about how a girl made a one mistake that resulted in the separation with her boyfriend? Lover? Husband? Either way,  she wishes that she could take a time machine and travel back in time so she could fix said mistake, but her punishment is to live without him and wallow in her guilt. Rather than analyze the whole song, check it out for yourself. My favorite verses are highlighted.

Alone in this slightly wide room unlike always
It’s over, guess it’s over
The story that we made went in vain
[We] fell apart this easily

One mistake, got a one regret
“No one’s perfect”
Even if I tried saying that,
Whatever I do, the wounds can’t heal

I’m going to embark on a time machine
If I would be able to go meet you again
I wouldn’t ask for more
Before it becomes a distant fleeting memory
I need a time machine oh
I need a time machine oh

The time I’m passing by alone is too slow
[This] mistake’s punishment is too heavy
The words that you last left
Up to now is replaying continuously
My heart still hurts

Just one mistake, just one regret
It’s selfish but it’s because love you
I’m going to embark on a time machine
If I would be able to go meet you again
I wouldn’t ask for more
Before it becomes a distant fleeting memory

I need a time machine
If I can jump through time and space and be able to meet you
Say, even if [we] come to the same conclusion,
there wouldn’t be any regrets for sure.
I’m going to embark on a time machine
If I would be able to go meet you again
I wouldn’t ask for more

Before it becomes a distant fleeting memory
Before our memories are forgotten
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine oh
Gimme a time machine
*Lyrics belong to rightful owners*

Also, I'm really pleased with the music video. While the song Time Machine showcases the singers of SNSD, the music video makes up for this by giving Sooyoung, Yoona, Hyoyeon and Yuri more screen time. This theme and the vibe of the music video is similar to that of IU's whimsical, and fantastical mv's like You and I. (So expect a lot of clocks.) Plus I love the fashion! They don't look overdone, and they're each dressed differently to express their individual style/character. Each style matched each member, but my least favorite was Sunny's look; her outfit looked more like a stage outfit for The Boys, thus it didn't really go with the concept. (I believe a  trench coat would suffice).  All of them looked stunning, but I was soo glad to see Hyoyeon's outfit. It was very fashion forward, and it's so much better than some of the ridiculous stuff she wore in previous music videos. My other comment is on the acting; SNSD expressed their emotion very well, but what I can't fathom is how Koreans manage to cry with only ONE teardrop. This I could never do. So, I applaud thee! Also, I don't think Koreans ever get cold either. I mean, Yoona was running on a frozen sidewalk. In a dress. Without a sweater. Either it's fake snow, or Yoona has skin made of thermal wear!
Now my biggest complaint, if any, is the introduction to the song. The actual song starts playing at the 1:42 mark. The first time around it's fun to watch, but I don't recommend putting this on a YouTube playlist if you want to wait 1 minute for the song to start. (Plus, a phone continually rings during the introduction so it's a tad annoying).
Ring Ding Dong! Ring Ding Di Di Di Ding!
Overall...wonderful song! SNSD's Japanese songs, or at least the ones that I've heard, rarely dissapoint. Time Machine being one of them.

Happy Birthday To.... LEE HYUK JAE! (aka Eunhyuk)

EUNHYUK
I obviously have no life because I spent the last 10 minutes going through all of Super Junior's Music Video's greeting happy birthday to the one and only LEE HYUK JAE aka Super Junior's EUNHYUK! Eunhyuk is one of my favorite K-Pop idols and he's one of the top three in my bias list for Super Junior. In fact, he was my first ever bias in Super Junior. During the dark ages, when I knew nothing about Super Junior, I could still recognize Eunhyuk because of his blindingly blonde hair, so every time I thought of Super Junior I thought of the dude with the really blonde mushroom hair.
He is a man who posesses loads of humor, talent, and passion. His dancing skills are amazing! After all, he is called the Dancing Machine. He is also one of the resident rappers in Super Junior alongside Shindong. His other nicknames include Anchovy, Jewel, and Monkey. He's not afraid to stand out and he's not afraid to cry. Above all, he is a true friend who will always look out for his fellow Super Junior Hyungs. I could go on and on about him, but let's keep it short and simple, like Eunhyuk! (Can you believe how many times they exposed Eunhyuk's shoe lifts on TV?!) He turns 26 today. I wish him all the best from a fellow E.L.F. Sarangheyo and Happy Birthday!
The Best of Eunhyuk!
& EunHae

Proud to be an ELF

This video explains, in a matter of ONE Minute, what it means to be an E.L.F.
Even though I recently became an ELF, I know that once you are one, you never stop.
To all my fellow ELF's out there in the world, SUPER JUNIOR 4EVER!<3

-A
*Please note that this video is NOT mine. It belongs to another amazing ELF.*

CNBlue's Ear Fun

CNBlue was one of those K-Pop groups that I discovered while I was in my "newbie" stage when I was still trying to figure out all the names of SNSD and  I had no idea who Super Junior was (gasp!). So, when I heard about their comeback, I decided to check it out. It didn't disappoint. What I love about CNBlue is their consistency with their music. They don't change their concept very often; rather their music sticks to the same pop/rock genre without sounding too much like their old songs so you won't get bored. Instead of reviewing one of their songs, I figured I'd review the whole mini album since I love it so much!

1. Hey You
Hey You, one of their title tracks, has got that feel-good melody and upbeat tempo similar to their songs Love Revolution or LOVE. Regardless Hey You has its own tone and its own character. It has the classic characteristics of a CNBLUE song such as the doowoopebebop sounds which are what I like to call filler words. These are words are neither in English or Korean; rather their just words that used to make the song sound fuller, make rhymes, and/or are used to make the song more complete etc. It's like when K-Pop groups sing LaLaLa or NaNaNa (which end up being the only lyrics in the song you can actually sing). Overall it was a good song. As for the music video, there wasn't a story line. Basically it was just them walking down a hallway to their gig.

2. Still in Love
This has to be one of my favorite songs(also a title track) in their new album. With all the "stabirabi rapststabira" parts, Still in Love is reminiscent of  a Jason Mraz song with more instrumentals and less acoustic sounds. What I love about this song is the tempo changes. It's like the tempo continually rise and falls in a way that transitions well. It's refreshing to hear and I feel CNBlue's Hey You and Dream Boy also follows the same pattern of low to high tempos. As for the music video, there wasn't any story line here either. It was just the band recording the song, but I still liked the music video because it focused a lot on their faces and they looked all cool as they were really into playing their instruments.

3. Dream Boy
Dream Boy starts with the slowest tempo out of the whole six songs in this album and then the chorous rises so quickly and then it goes back to slow. It's one of my least favorite songs, but it's definitely not a bad song. It's the kind of song you'd hear in a drama like Heartstrings to put it simply (<3 this Drama).

4. Run
This song, another favorite of mine, has the most pop/rock feel. It's very upbeat once it hits the chorus and you can be assured that it's really easy to sing along to. With that said, it's very catchy so the chorus is mostly likely to get stuck in your head. My favorite part of the song is the 2:00 minute  mark in which it hits  an epic mini guitar solo leading into a bridge with backup vocals, until it returns back to the chorus! Daebak!

5. Rock n' Roll
One Word: Dance. This is what I call a Jump-able song, as opposed to a dance-able song, a jump-able song is the kind of song, where the beat makes you want to jump and dancing just doesn't do the song justice. Also, this song has the most rock influence. Again, at the 2:00 mark there is rockabilly-sounding guitar solo, but the song as a whole is far from a rockabilly song. The core of the song is in the chorous because unlike the others, this has a prettty fast but consistent tempo. I also love Jonghyun's vocals in the chorous because they immediately follow Yonghwa's vocals and their voices complement so well with each other!

6. In My Head (Korean Version)
Lastly, we have the Korean Version of In My Head. This song was orgianlly written in Japanese, and if you've had the pleasure of listening to songs translated into Korean or other languages than you know it's not really a pleasure. Most Korean Sung songs don't sound good when their translated into a different language and vice versa. It feels like the lyrics are being squished to fit the melody and it's just awkward to listen to, but CNBlue's in My Head was not like that all! The Korean version sounded almost the same as the Japanese version. As for the song itself: very very good. It's similar to Rock n' Roll and Run, but the tone is what's different. Check out the song for yourself and you'll see the difference.

This is the Japanese Version, so you can compare, plus the music video is really cool.

OVERVIEW:
This is definitely a good album by our boys. I guess if I had to be critical of them, some of their song are similar to each other, but it wasn't a big hindrance, because all of the songs individually are very catchy and they have their own character and tone. I loved the tempo changes and the overall power in their voices as well. Enjoy!
I give this 5 out of 5 cups of steaming bowls of Beef Ramyun!

KFA #2 - Jjangjjangmyeon 자장면

File:Korean black bean noodle dish-Jaengban Jajangmyeon-01.jpg

Today's Menu : Jjang Jang Myun 자장면

so jjangjjangmyeon is wheat noodles with a thick black sauce that is black soybean paste. This is the food that we often see our lovely idols eat. It is often eaten with other side dishes. This dish was invented by chinese imigrants in incheon in very early 1900's.not much to say about the dish but YUM!

KFA #1 - KIMCHI

Image Detail

so today's menu is KIMCHI!!!

File:Korean.food-kimchi-02.jpgFile:Korean stew-Kimchi jjigae-05.jpgFirst of all what is kimchi? its fermented cabbage, radish, scallion, and cucumber and its mixed with hot peppers and other seasonings. This is actually more of a side dish and has been able to be dated back 3000 years ago. Like anything that is fermented the more time it has to ferment it get tastier. I have tasted kimchi before and its not bad. Like any type off foods there are variations of kimchi all around korea like in the midwest korea its moderate and less spicy and the color is less red because less pepper flakes are used. Also different kimchi's are made at different times of the year depending on the various vegetables that grow in different seasons.

Kimchi which is mostly seen as a side dish also has other various foods like kimchi buchimigae which is kimchi pancakes, Dogchimi a soup, kimchi fried rice, kimchi jjigae a kimchi stew.

Korean Food Adventure! = KFA!

Miss A Touch Mini Album REVIEW

File:MissA Touch.jpg

this is actually long overdue but i have been listening to the mini album a lot lately and wanted to just post my thoughts on the whole thing. I LOVE it. Miss A never fail to surprise me in singing, their song choices, dance, and image. I just love how they don't do all the cute stuff like other girl groups they like to stay edgy and UNIQUE. Their different. And that's why im a fan. In this mini album my favorite song is Lips. It has a very addictive sound and great vocals. Not a surprise coming from Miss A though. I especially like the chorus. So this album is a must have for your ipod its great. This album is shower singing worthy :) LOL

Shut up flower boy band review: OVERALL

This one of the best drama's iv'e ever watched because we have all gone through this. Our band of friends always are together supporting each other at ALL times. Ans it really reminded me of my friends. How we wanted to be together always. I love how their journey was very realistic and what people experience every day. The fact that they encouraged each other to pursue their own dream and backing them up all the way. I don't think they'll quite music forever but only do it like they did before which is use it to have fun together. my most favorite scene in ep16 was when they were taking a test and the 4 that were in school sneaked out the scene i loved the most was their were all running together laughing. An also the time when they were in Ji Hyuks place sitting on the bad together being their old self. This drama is absolutely a must watch. I also give the actors in this drama an A. Most of them have just started acting and they did such an amazing job. They really portrayed the emotions required in this drama and that's why i love it so much.

Dream High 2 Review of 15 & 16 & over all

File:Dreamhigh2 poster.jpg

so yes i finally watched DH2 upon my return and just loved the 15th epsiode. It had just the right amount of humor and sadness. It was just great. . for 15 The preformances at the start were absolutely amazing! JB and Rian did a sweet duet, and the guy who sang the song for Nana (sorry don't know his name), and also Jin Woon's. It was all very emotional and i love how as an actors and as singers they conveyed that emotion. i think thats the most important thing that people look in a singer.

Its so cute that JB is refusing to let go of Hae Sung. I mean I don't blame him. She loved him and he finally returns the love and then break it off? lets go JB FIGHT FOR YOUR WOMAN!!!! And the girl (i don't know her name) has gotten closer to her dad and has made a deal with him about becoming a manager. That scene was so funny when she was measuring them. Also the scene before that when they were talking about their bad qualities. Especially when Ui Bong saig "Thinks her face is a canvas" that comment made me laugh so hard. I think this episode was the funniest out of all of them. can also say the cutest?

It was cute when Suzy of Miss A talked to them before they go on stage. The "newbies" reactions were so funny. And I absolutely adore the JB and Hae Sung couple scenes.

The ending part was also very touching. The fact that 2 enemies become friends and a whole group of people come together as a group. And as Hae Sung put it a "constellation" when one star becomes friends with other stars.

i must say the 16 wasn't as good and the jumping around of the times confused me but im very happy who ended up with who. And i wasn't surprised by the ending. people have been complaining that they didn't see a sing kiss scene with JB and Hae Sung and i don't blame the directors for not doing it. It would be quite scandalous if it did happen especially since JB is about to debut along with JR soon. And also the fact that i like JB a lot so yeah. I also have to say that i did not like their version of the Dream High song only because i love the original. I'll probably listen to it more and MAYBE i'll like it. I love how everybody got together and how they all became friends. All of them finding there own success.
