Who else stayed up late watching the MBC Kpop Concert? I did! Because of K-Pop my Monday felt like a Friday! My friend and I spent the night texting each other like crazy. (300 texts in all!) Sadly, we weren't exactly articulate with our words, for example....
Ultimately, I did not finish my homework, which is to be expected, but I fully enjoyed the live performance. I screamed and fangirled till my heart's content. Like always, there was a lot cheers from the audience and Taeyeon and Tiffany MC'd, so I was hoping for some TaeTiSeo performance. (There wasn't) However; Kara opened the show with their upbeat song Step. Following them was a powerful performance by MBLAQ. SISTAR followed not without loud roars from many many fanboys And if my memory serves me right, F(x) came after. Wonder Girl's Sunye and SNSD's Seohyun had solo stages dedicated to their Fathers, but unfortunately, I was washing my face at the time so.... I'm guessing that their performances were superb as per usual! Then came B2st, Girls Generation, and Wonder Girls, but my favorite performance of the night was....SUPER JUNIOR! Sorry, that I am a hopelessly biased fangirl. All of them were perfect, and I think they got one of the best responses from the audience that night. To close the show was TVXQ which left me with the best impression that night. (I think the lineup was from youngest to eldest, or maybe that was just me) I don't listen to TVXQ, but I am fully aware of what legends they are in K-Pop (cough cough Mirotic!). That night, TVXQ probably performed the best out of all them, even trumping Super Junior. Changmin was sweating like crazy belting out those high notes and Yunho was dancing and rapping like crazy! I was absolutely impressed; I felt that they showed the most effort and passion on stage that night. Overall, I was very very happy, and I hope you guys got to see it too!

I knew that JJ Project would come out with a bang and they did and exceeded my expectations. The duo was perfect because both had all the qualities of a musician not like other groups that are consisted of a line like one is in charge of beauty on in singing etc. Both of them hold up their end like both can sing we know this from the drama Dream High 2 and both can dance. 
While I may be confused about the actual meaning of the song, I did admire 2ne1's style. Mostly it was the hair. I begin at the risk of sounding superficial, but here goes: I have always liked CL's hair straight; it's very mature, streamlined, and it fits her personality. Her crimped hair was also different; it was playful. Speaking of which, I also liked Bom with straight hair too, but I was delightfully satisfied with her curly hair, also matching the playful vibe, considering that I don't really like crimped hair. Lastly, thank goodness for Dara's hair. She finally ditched the pineapple hair. I don't mind the pineapple hair so much, but it's nice to see Dara with a more toned down hairstyle. She had her signature bun, but with bangs. She looked older and very pretty with that hairstyle. Lastly, I've been having a complex about Minzy's hair color. All I'm gonna say is, that the mossy gray green yellowish isn't a color I would choose for Minzy, but I love Minzy anyway!
As much as I love SNSD, as a group, it's really refreshing to see the members in a different light. Overall, I'm satisfied with their album as a whole. I appreciate how Tiffany, Taeyeon, and Seohyun were able to go beyond their comfort zones and also experiment with new styles of music that made their album unique. Personally, not all of the songs stick with you like Gee, but it's definitely not an album with just filler songs. I think they took some time and effort to make an album that showcased their singing abilities.
Words to describe Twinkle include....
I am a sucker for music videos that have a strong theme. For Twinkle, it was the sparkly, starlet, girly-girl theme. For some reason, I keep thinking of the 1920's, what with the vintage car and the old fashioned photographers (equipped with Nikon Cameras just in case you were wondering). The whole setting was very bright and flashy which fit the whole "twinkle" concept. To enhance the Twinkle factor, they even had animated fairy dust effects. The first scene is the red carpet strut, with Chanyeol from EXO-K making an appearance! (So cute!) Then you have the slumber-party-get-ready clip, with the strut-down-a-hallway scene. Following this is the get-on-stage-and-look-cool scene finally ending with the-descend-down-a-staricase-in-long-dresses scene. I pretty much summed up the whole music video right there. As for the dance. I thought the moves were cute, but I thought the song was too sassy to be cute. I was hoping for some sort of kicking motion, like Chicago or something like that.
