Have you guys ever heard of the big 3? well it's actually said 3 is a luck number. the trinity, 3 big gods, 3rd times's the charm. Well in the world of Korean Entertainment Companies there is 3 that are the most well know. And thats....
What I'm basically saying is if you want to be a kpop artist the big 3 should be your goal but it is also very hard to get into any of them and each one have their perks.
Perks of JYP
-You get to work with the famous Park Jin Young.
-good pay
-treated right
-cares about looks but not too much
Perks of YG
-has one of the best offices
-known to treat workers the best
-cares more about talent than looks
-tries to see your pontential in the future
-work side by side with seniors (you get tought by the seniors and so get closer)
Perks of SME
-really good advertisement
-best quality everything
-slave contract? (idk if that's still going on)
-big practice area
-seem to have the busiest idols....
Now it's up to you where you wanna go because each have their pros and cons. But if it were me I would be going to YG because of really how they treat their people. Like they have had SE7EN for a long time and that really says that YG is very good. SME? no way for me anyways. WHY? because look at all those who have left......... yeah yeah their old groups and were bound to disband but I think they overwork them ....
But not being in the big 3 doesn't mean your going to not be successful it's just that people need to see your talent. I have been quite well versed in the kpop world for quite some time now and have never heard of LOEN until IU became famous and now LOEN is quite well known. It's the same with SISTAR, After School, B1A4, INFINITE. They have qualities that let them be seen through all of the high and powerful companies.
SISTAR - sexy, Hyorin has an awesome voice
After School - sexy, one of the best dance girl groups
B1A4 - sexy, cute
INFINITE - sexy, highly syncronized dance, sexy
IU - voice, cute, good actress....
So hope you guys think very carefully when sending an audition to kpop companies because like you guys who love kpop want to be a part of it too.
